A study in silhouette, structure, and collar variation, this project presents three muslin prototypes showcasing diverse construction techniques in outerwear design. Each piece explores a unique detail; from the clean angular lines of a notched collar to the softness of a shawl and Peter Pan collar. The jackets also experiment with sleeve and shoulder construction, including raglan sleeves and dropped shoulders, offering insight into how proportion and seam placement influence fit and form. These toiles were developed as a technical exercise in precision and versatility, serving as the foundation for fully realized garments across different design aesthetics.
