My Story
Hello! I'm Monil Dhakan, and I'm from Mumbai, India. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, with an associates degree in Womenswear Fashion Design.
My transformational years at FIT has given me a strong foundation in this field, where I've dived into everything from understadning fundamentals of fabric, silhouettes and desgin to pattern making and from garment construction to digital illustration and tech-packs.
I'm constantly exploring, learning, and honing my skills to bring innovative to life through design.
My mission? To evolve continuously while crafting work that is intentional, and truly meaningful!
